WHAT: House fire.
WHEN: July 1, 2024, at 4:56 p.m.
WHERE: 11600 block of Wallisville Rd. 77013.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: Not available.
DAMAGE: $20,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Under investigation (appears to be accidental).
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene to find light smoke coming from a 1-story house. Fire conditions were found in one room and extending into the attic. They made an attack on the fire and conducted a primary search. Crews extinguished the fire and requested HFD Arson investigators to determine the cause and origin. 32 personnel responded to this incident, including firefighters from Stations 20, 45, 27, 44, 53 and 30.
