WHAT: House fire.
WHEN: October 3, 2023, at 3:37 a.m.
WHERE: 10600 block of Bucknell Rd. 77016.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: Not available.
DAMAGE: $150,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS: Firefighters arrived on scene within seven minutes to find fire coming from the back of a 2-story house. They made an attack on the fire and conducted a primary search. Crews protected nearby exposures and the utilities were secured. They extinguished the fire which was contained to an add-on structure. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin. 33 personnel were dispatched to this incident, including firefighters from Stations 15, 34, 45, 32, 43, 56, 24 and 30.
