CAUSE: Unintentional (cigarrette)
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within four minutes to find moderate smoke coming out of the house. A mattress fire was found and extinguished with no extension beyond the mattress and the bedroom. Crews remove the mattress, and the house was ventilated. The fire appeared to have started from a residents unattended cigarette. The American Red Cross was notified to assist the family. Crews from Stations 34, 56 and 43 responded to this incident.
