CAUSE: Unintentional (storm).
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene to find heavy fire coming from the attic of a 1-story house with wind driven fire conditions due to the Hurricane. They made an offensive attack and conducted a primary search with no one found. The family had safely made it out of the home. The crews protected a nearby exposure and secured the utilities. Firefighters exposed the collapsed roof and void spaces to fully extinguish the fire despite the extreme weather conditions. 33 personnel responded to this incident, including crews from Stations 41, 23, 8, 19, 20, 27 and 46.
