WHAT: House Fire.
WHEN: July 9, 2022 at 8:58 p.m.
WHERE: 4300 block of Curly Oaks, 77053.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: $225,000 in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE: $25,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Failure of equipment or heat source.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within seven minutes to find smoke coming from a 1-story house. They found smoke and heat coming from an outlet and removed the sheetrock to fully extinguish the fire. Minor extension was found in the attic. Crews from Stations 21, 59, 24 and 80 responded to this incident.
