INJURIES: No reported injuries.

DAMAGE: $55,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Unintentional (electrical).
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene to find light smoke coming from a 1-story house and made an offensive attack. They conducted a primary search and ventilated the home. Crews extinguished the fire in the attic which appeared to have started where an electrical line was in contact with a ceiling joist. The American Red Cross was requested for the tenants. 35 personnel responded to this incident, including firefighters from Stations 21, 59, 47, 48 and 80.
