WHAT: House fire.
WHEN: September 17, 2024, at 9:24 p.m.
WHERE: 6200 block of Briar Glade Dr. 77072.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: $98,000 in estimated property / content saved.
DAMAGE: $135,000 in estimated property / content damage.
CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene to find smoke and fire coming from a 1-story house. They made an attack on the fire and conducted a primary search. No one was found. The utilities were controlled, and crews pulled the ceiling to access the fire in the attic. The fire was quickly extinguished and HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin. 40 personnel responded to this incident, including firefighters from Stations 68, 83, 10, 69, 73, 76, 69 and Rescue 10.
