HFD Arson Bureau Arrest Suspect in Connection with SE Houston Apartment Fire

Suspect Richard F. Essex (WM) was arrested on March 2, 2017 at 2:30 p.m. in connection with an apartment fire in SE Houston.  The fire occurred at 4801 Allendale Dr. Houston, Texas 77017 on March 2, 2017 at 6:34 a.m.  Suspect admitted to setting fire.  The county of arrest was Harris County.  The suspect was charged with Arson in District Court 338.  The bond amount is $20,000.
