Free COVID-19 vaccinations available at 22 Houston Health Department sites week of May 10, 2021

HOUSTON The Houston Health Department is announcing the schedule for sites offering free first doses of COVID-19 vaccine during the week of May 10, 2021. Twenty-two free vaccination sites across Houston are on the schedule for the week.

Houston Health Department-affiliated vaccination sites are available for walk-ins and appointments.

Vaccination does not require proof of residency, citizenship, or insurance. The health department offers Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccine, approved for people age 18 and up.

Pop-up Sites

The department will offer ten pop-up sites during the week, located at:

  • Mangum-Howell Center, 2500 Frick Rd.
    • May 11-14: 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
