DAMAGE: $100,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: HFD Arson investigators ruled the cause as accidental (electrical).
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene to find a transformer vault to a midrise building burning and spreading to a nearby apartment building. Crews extinguished the fire and searched the apartments for smoke. CenterPoint secured the power and HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause of the fire. 34 personnel responded to this incident, including firefighters from Stations 28, 6, 2, 3, 38 and 57.
