DAMAGE: $50,000 in estimated property / content damaged.
CAUSE: HFD Arson investigators ruled the cause as accidental (unspecified electric malfunction).
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene to find heavy smoke and fire coming from a 2-story duplex and made an offensive attack. The structure was ventilated, and a primary search was completed. The crews extinguished the fire and requested HFD Arson investigators to determine the cause and origin. 35 personnel responded to this incident, including firefighters from Stations 30, 15, 34, 64, 74, 84, 104, 63 and Rescue 42.
