HOUSTON – The Herbert W. Gee Municipal Courthouse, located at 1400 Lubbock Street, will be temporarily closed beginning at 2:00PM, Thursday, February 27, 2020, and will reopen at 8:00AM, Friday, February 28, 2020, unless otherwise notified.
Individuals scheduled for court Thursday, February 27, 2020, 2PM – 9PM, must reset their case(s) in person at any of our six court locations beginning at 8:00AM, Friday, February 28, 2020 through 5:00PM, Friday, March 6, 2020.
The Municipal Courts Department offers several online options that are available as means to resolve court matters. Interested persons may visit www.houstontx.gov/courts/forms.html to download the form(s) needed to request a trial setting, request the Driving Safety Course (DSC) by mail, or to submit proof of compliance by mail. Payments for fines are accepted online at www.houstontx.gov/courts/ticket_payments.html. Payments are also accepted via:
- Western Union (code: Ticket Texas); or
- US Mail (P.O. Box 4996, Houston, Texas 77210-4996).
The Herbert W. Gee Courthouse will resume normal hours of operation at 8:00AM, Friday, February 28, 2020, unless otherwise notified.
