WHERE: 5600 block of W. Bellfort Ave. 77035.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.

DAMAGE: $40,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene to find a detached residential garage fully involved in fire with a collapse. They made an attack on the fire and protected the nearby home. The fire was controlled within about ten minutes and HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin. The electric and gas utilities company was also notified. 41 personnel responded to this incident, including crews from Stations 48, 2, 21, 59, 82, 73 and 24.
