WHAT:Detached residential garage fire.
WHEN:January 16, 2025, at 12:54 a.m.
WHERE: 7400 block of Ashburn St. 77061.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: $200,000 in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE: $200,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene to find fire coming from a detached residential garage. They made an attack on the fire and checked for extension to the house. A primary search was conducted, and the fire was extinguished. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin. 36 personnel responded to this incident, including crews from Stations 23, 26, 46, 29, 36, 40, 24 and Rescue 42.
