CAUSE: Unintentional (abandoned or discarded materials).
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene to find a detached garage of a 1-story house on fire and high winds spreading the flames to the home. They extinguished the fire and ensured the was no extension into the residence. The fire originated from a trash can near the garage where coals from a recent barbeque grill had been discarded. The windy conditions then spread the fire to the garage. 31 personnel responded to this incident, including crews from Stations 31, 13 and 67.
