Composite Sketch of Suspect Wanted in Two Sexual Assault Incidents

Houston police have released a composite sketch of a suspect wanted in two separate sexual assault incidents in east/southeast Houston.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his late 30s to early 40s, about 6 feet 2 inches tall with a thin build.  He has a distinctive scar on his left cheek.  The suspect most recently was seen with a beard and mustache, medium dark wavy hair, and was wearing a baseball cap in both incidents.  He is also known to speak Spanish.  A composite sketch of the suspect is attached to this news release.

The suspect is believed to be responsible for the sexual assault of taco truck employees at two different locations.

The first incident occurred in the 4300 block of Telephone Road about 3:25 a.m. on April 3.  The suspect, armed with a pistol, forced two women to open the taco truck and allow him inside.  Once inside, he threatened the two women and sexually assaulted one of them.  He then fled the scene.

The second incident occurred in the 6800 block of Griggs about 5:55 a.m. on July 7.  The suspect, armed with a pistol, forced one of the women, who was outside the taco truck at the time, to let him inside.  Once inside, he sexually assaulted the three female employees, took an undisclosed amount of cash, and then fled.

Further investigation has led investigators to believe the suspect may be the same in both cases.

Anyone with information on the identity of the suspect is urged to contact the HPD Special Victims Division at 713-308-1180 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
