DAMAGE: $8,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Failure of equipment or heat source.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within four minutes to find a fire in the ceiling area of a workshop within a small commercial building. They made an offensive attack and conducted a primary search. All occupants were safely out of the building. The fire was controlled and extinguished with foam operations. Wiring had arched and caught the overhang of the building and ceiling on fire. Crews from Stations 19, 12 and 30 responded to this incident.
