ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene to find smoke coming from an abandoned church with a preexisting partial roof collapse. They made an attack on the fire and forced entry. Several items were found burning inside the main sanctuary. Crews extinguished the fire and conducted a primary search with no one found. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin. 47 personnel responded to this incident, including firefighters from Stations 26, 46, 35, 47, 55, 24 and Hazmat 22.
