DAMAGE: $55 thousand in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within six minutes to find a building totally involved on fire and declared a defensive attack. The fire was extinguished with assistance from the Aldine, Spring and Eastex Fire Departments. The fire had also spread to a nearby building’s roof and crews quickly extinguished it. HFD Arson and the Harris County Fire Marshal Office were requested to determine the cause of the original fire. Crews from Stations 64, 102, 63, 74, 104, 101, 63 and 30 responded to this incident.
