DAMAGE: $100,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within a minute to find heavy smoke and fire coming from the laundry room of an apartment complex. They made an attack on the fire and ventilated the room. The nearby exposures were protected, and a primary search was completed. The fire was extinguished and HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin. Crews from Stations 48, 59 and 68 responded to this incident.
