PROPERTY SAVED: More than $12,600,000 in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE: $500,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within four minutes to find an unoccupied 2-story apartment building. They made a defensive attack and requested HFD Arson investigators. The fire was controlled, and a primary search was completed. Hidden and smoldering fires were located and extinguished. 28 personnel responded to this incident, including crews from Stations 2, 5, 78, 49, 57, 77 and the Village Fire Department.
