PROPERTY SAVED: $265,000 in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE: $10,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within five minutes to find light smoke coming from an apartment. A small fire was found inside and extinguished. It was contained to the area of origin with smoke and heat damage to a bedroom. Crews ventilated the unit and building management responded. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause of the fire. Firefighters from Stations 5, 50, 62, 2 and the Village Fire Department responded to this incident.
