WHAT:	Apartment Fire
WHEN:	January 22, 2022 at 8:22 p.m.
WHERE:	9407 Westheimer, 77063
INJURIES:	No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED:	$49 thousand in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE:	$11 thousand in estimated damage.
CAUSE:	Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:	Firefighters arrived on scene within seven minutes to find smoke coming from a second-floor unit of a 3-story apartment building. They began an attack on the fire and conducted a primary search. The fire was quickly controlled and extinguished with fire damage to one room and smoke and water damage throughout the unit. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin of the fire. Firefighters from Stations 28, 83, 10, 49, 51, 60, 69, 75 and 57 responded to this incident.
