WHAT: Apartment fire.
WHEN: March 18, 2025, at 4:05 p.m.
WHERE: 8513 Westheimer Rd. 77063.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.

DAMAGE: $150,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Under investigation (appears to be accidental).
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene to find fire coming from a 2-story apartment building. They made an offensive attack and ventilated the roof. A primary search was completed and the utilities were secured. The Houston Police Department was requested for traffic control. Firefighters controlled the fire within 25 minutes and requested HFD Arson investigators to determine the cause and origin. The American Red Cross was notified to assist the residents. 54 personnel responded to this incident, including crews from Stations 10, 2, 28, 68, 83, 51, 60, 69, 78, 57 and Rescue 10.
