INJURIES: No reported injuries.

DAMAGE: $70,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Unintentional (electrical).
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters found fire in the ceiling of a third-floor apartment unit. They quickly extinguished the fire and ventilated the unit. The fire was caused by an electrical issue in the attic space. Crews completed salvage and overhaul and the apartment management and resident were advised to leave the power off until it could be properly inspected and repaired. 44 personnel responded to this incident, including firefighters from Stations 28, 83, 2, 10, 49, 69, 60, 57 and Rescue 10.
