CAUSE: Unintentional (cooking).
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within six minutes and found fire coming from a 1-story apartment building. They made an offensive attack and ventilated the roof. A search of the adjacent apartments was completed, and the fire was extinguished within 20 minutes. The fire was contained to the originating unit. The occupant had been frying food when it caught fire and unsuccessfully attempted to extinguish it. Crews from Stations 34, 64, 56 and Rescue 42 responded to this incident.
