WHAT:	Apartment Fire
WHEN:	January 31, 2022 at 8:51 p.m.
WHERE:	5909 Glenmont, 77081
INJURIES:	No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED:	More than $24 million in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE:	$21 thousand in estimated damage.
CAUSE:	Unintentional (electrical).
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:	Firefighters arrived on scene within four minutes to find fire coming from the roof of an apartment building. They made an offensive attack and extinguished the fire. It was contained to a void space between apartment units, starting near the AC units were the electrical lines come from the building to the roof. Plastic covering was placed over the area and overhaul was completed with a large area on the roof exposed by the crews to ensure there were no hotspots. Two occupied units and two vacant units were damaged. Firefighters from Stations 28, 68, 51, 60, 2, 3, 57, 10 and 37 responded to this incident.
