CAUSE: Unintentional (electrical).
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene to find smoke coming from a 2-story apartment building. They made an attack on the fire and ventilated the roof. A primary search was completed, and the fire was extinguished. CenterPoint arrived on scene and secured the utilities. The fire was caused by an electrical issue in the walls between units and the roof with loud popping heard. The American Red Cross was notified to assist the residents. 44 personnel responded to this incident, including crews from Stations 28, 82, 2, 68, 3, 10, 16, 37, 60 and 57.
