WHAT: Apartment fire.

INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: More than $12,400,000 in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE: $50,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Unintentional.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within four minutes to find a mostly extinguished fire in an apartment. The occupants were all accounted for, and the unit was ventilated. Crews finished extinguishing a small kitchen fire and completed overhaul to find and expose any hidden fire. The adjacent units were checked for extension with none found. The damage was contained to the kitchen area of the unit and appeared to have been caused by unattended cooking. The American Red Cross was requested to assist the residents. Firefighters from Stations 28, 68, 51 and 60 responded to this incident.
