WHAT: Apartment fire.
WHEN: July 30, 2023, at 10:20 p.m.
WHERE: 2434 Lidstone Ct. 77023.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: $80,000 in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE: $20,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within three minutes to find a several fires throughout two apartment units. They made an attack on the fires and checked for extension. The fire had extended to the exterior eaves. Crews controlled the fires and two additional HFD units were requested to assist with scene management. The building was ventilated, and a search was completed with no one found. The building was reported to be under renovation with no residents. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause of the fires. 41 personnel were dispatched to this incident, including firefighters from Stations 18, 23, 20, 26, 18, 25, 35, 40, 24 and Rehab 17.
