DAMAGE: $10 thousand in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Under Investigation - intentional.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within four minutes to find light smoke coming from an apartment. Moderate smoke was found inside, and crews found a smoldering fire in the kitchen extending to the cabinets. They quickly extinguished it and conducted a primary search. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause of the fire. One individual was taken into custody. Firefighters from Stations 8, 46, 18, 7 and 24 responded to this incident.
