CAUSE: HFD Arson investigators ruled the cause as accidental due to an electrical malfunction.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within six minutes to find light smoke coming from a 2-story apartment building. They found and extinguished a fire between two units on the firewall. The American Red Cross was notified to assist the residents. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin. Crews from Stations 13, 15, 4, 5, 50, 66, 67, 62 and 30 responded to this incident.
