PROPERTY SAVED: $430 thousand in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE: $70 thousand in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Unintentional.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within four minutes to find heavy smoke coming from the roof of a 2-story apartment building. They made an offensive attack and found several AC units burning on the roof. Crews extinguished the fire and mitigated the water damage to the units. The fire was contained to the roof and the utilities were turned off for safety concerns. The America Red Cross was requested for the three families who were displaced. Firefighters from Stations 4, 5, 13, 50 and 30 responded to this incident.
