WHAT: Apartment fire.

DAMAGE: $110,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene to find fire coming through the roof of a 2-story apartment building. They made an offensive attack and accessed the attic to extinguish the fire. Crews rotated through rehab until the fire was completely controlled. A primary search was completed, and the utilities were secured. The building was mostly vacant with the first floor used for primary storage and supply and only a few units being occupied. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin of the fire. Firefighters from Stations 15, 31, 64, 58, 67, 74, 84, 30, Rehab 8 and the Aldine Fire Department responded to this incident.
