DAMAGE: $75,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Under investigation (appears to be accidental).
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene to find smoke coming from the attic of a 2-story apartment building and made an offensive attack. A primary search was completed, and the units were checked for extension. The utilities were secured, and the building was ventilated with fans. Crews extinguished the fire and requested HFD Arson investigators to determine the cause and origin. 39 personnel responded to this incident, including firefighters from Stations 67, 2, 4, 5, 50, 66, 49 and 57.
