CAUSE: HFD Arson investigators ruled the cause as accidental (smoking materials).
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within seven minutes to find fire in a first-floor apartment unit. The fire was confined to the unit, and everyone was safely outside. The crews extinguished the fire and removed several burning items out of the unit. The walls and ceiling were checked for extension with none found. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin of the fire. 31 personnel to this incident, including firefighters from Stations 78, 83, 57, 69 and 75.
