ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene to find an apartment unit on fire. They made an attack on the fire and conducted a primary search. The crews extinguished the fire and opened the walls, ensuring the fire was completely controlled. One firefighter was transported to the hospital for evaluation for minor burns. The fire originated in the kitchen area when the resident was frying food. 38 personnel responded to this incident, including crews from Stations 83, 82, 59, 68, 21, 48, 24, and Rescue 10.
