WHAT: Apartment fire.
WHEN: February 5, 2025, at 1:45 p.m.
WHERE: 10100 S. Gessner Rd. 77031.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.

DAMAGE: $100,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene to find an apartment on fire. They quickly extinguished the fire and conducted a primary search. There was smoke and fire damage throughout the unit with smoke in a nearby apartment. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin. 42 personnel responded to this incident, including crews from Stations 2, 68, 83, 28, 82, 21, 69, 75 and Rescue 42.
