CAUSE: Unintentional (electrical).
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within three minutes to find light smoke coming from a 2-story apartment building. They found and extinguished a smoldering fire in the attic involving insulation and structural members. A short was found in the wiring leading to the air-conditioner unit and water heater. There was significant damage to the underside of the roof and attic space. Crews checked for extension and conducted overhaul .34 personnel responded to this incident, including firefighters from Stations 76, 10 and 73.
