CAUSE: Unintentional (abandoned or discarded materials or products).
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene to find light smoke coming from a 2-story apartment building. As crews searched for the source of the fire, a primary search was completed. A small, smoldering fire was found near a balcony in a void space between the first and second floor. Crews extinguished the fire and cleared the smoke from the units. It was determined that the fire was unintentional from discarded smoking materials. 33 personnel responded to this incident, including firefighters from Stations 73, 68, 83, 10 and 76.
