CAUSE: Unintentional.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within four minutes to find smoke coming from the third floor of a 3-story apartment building and made an offensive attack. A sprinkler head was activated and was controlling the fire. Crews completed extinguishment and stopped the flow of water. They cleared the smoke from the units and advised the management. The fire appeared to have originated from trash/rubbish stored outside the door of a unit with discarded cigarette butts in the area. 34 HFD personnel were dispatched to this incident with firefighters from Stations 67, 4, and 50 responding.
