| Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 8300 Canyon Street about 9:20 p.m. last Friday (June 22).
The identity of the victim, 17, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detective R. Watson reported:
The victim was found in a stairwell of an apartment complex at the above address. He had suffered at least one gunshot wound. HFD paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced him deceased.
At this time, there are no known witnesses nor suspect(s).
