The fatal shooting of a man at 400 Greens Road about 9 p.m. on Thursday (October 29) will be referred to a Harris County Grand Jury.
The identity of the deceased male, believed to be in his 20s, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives I. Barrett and A. Beiza reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call in the parking lot of an apartment complex at the above address. They located a male with apparent gunshot wounds inside a vehicle that had collided with a tree. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced the male deceased at the scene.
Preliminary investigation identified two persons of interests. Homicide investigators interviewed the two individuals and consulted the Harris County District Attorney’s Office. It was determined the shooting would be referred to a Harris County Grand Jury.
