Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the fatal shooting of a man at 2815 Dalview Street about 4:10 p.m. on June 26.
The suspect, Ronald Carper, 37, is charged with murder in the 248th Criminal District Court. A booking photo of Carper is attached to the news release.
The victim is identified as Andre Jackson, 30.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives I. Barrett and R. Reyes reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at the above address and found a male suffering from gunshot wounds in the driveway. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced him deceased at the scene.
Further investigation developed Ronald Carper as a suspect in this shooting. On Thursday (Oct. 8), officers with the HPD North Patrol Division Crime Suppression Team arrested Carper. He was subsequently charged for his role in this fatal shooting and booked into the Harris County jail.
