Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a female found at 3351 Persimmon Street about 1 p.m. on Monday (Sept. 28).
The identity of the deceased female, 25, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD homicide division Sergeant M. Cass reported:
Officers responded to a report of a deceased female found inside a residence at the above address. Upon arrival officers found the female lying on the floor with no signs of injury or trauma. She was pronounced deceased by responding Houston Fire Department paramedics.
The female was at home with her children when she was found unresponsive and a child spoke with neighbors for assistance.
The investigation is pending the females cause of death to be determined by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
