Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man that occurred at 6345 Windswept Lane about 2:30 a.m. on Saturday (Sept. 19).
The identity of the deceased male, 21, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant K. Clark and Detective K. Clark reported:
Officers responded to a report of an alarm at the above address and upon arrival found multiple shell casings as well as a blood in the parking lot. While investigating the scene, officers were notified a male with a gunshot wound had been transported to an area hospital by private vehicle. The male was pronounced deceased at the hospital.
Further investigation revealed the male was discovered by family members in the parking lot at the above address when they arrived to pick him up. Family members described hearing several gunshots when they entered the parking lot and observed a group of Hispanic male suspect fleeing the location on foot with the victim’s belongings.
