Houston police are investigating a fatal crash in the 600 block of Milam Street about 8:50 today (July 22).
The identity of the deceased male, 65, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant A. Patterson and Officer T. Riley reported:
A white Ford F150 was traveling southbound on Milam Street when the vehicle left the roadway and struck a planter and landscaped area before coming to a stop. It is believed the driver suffered a medical episode. Responding Houston Fire Department paramedics transported him to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
No other persons or vehicles were involved.
The investigation is ongoing.
