Houston police are investigating a fatal hit-and-run crash at 6400 Will Clayton Parkway about 1:30 a.m. on May 3.
The identity of the deceased male is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant K. Bui and Officer R. Young reported:
HPD officers responding to a traffic hazard call at the above address learned an unknown white vehicle had struck a male pedestrian and fled the scene. A white Jeep Cherokee then also struck the pedestrian. Paramedics pronounced the pedestrian deceased at the scene.
The female driver of the Jeep, 26, showed no signs of impairment. She was questioned and released.
