Houston police are investigating the shooting of a juvenile male at 7000 Lockwood about 4:35 p.m. last Friday (Feb. 2).
The victim, 16, suffered a gunshot wound to the thigh and was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
HPD Homicide Division Detective T. Fay reported:
Patrol officers were flagged down by a group of juveniles and informed one of them had been shot. Paramedics were called and transported the victim to the hospital.
The group told officers the unknown male suspect was wearing all black clothing and was last seen running eastbound along train tracks to a residential area. Officers set up a perimeter and searched for the possible suspect, who was not located.
