| Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 7220 South Gessner Road about 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday (January 23).
The victim, Adonis Dwon Gilbert, 20, was pronounced dead at Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives E. May and M. Arrington reported:
Mr. Gilbert was in the stairwell of an apartment complex at the above address when he was shot several times by an unknown suspect. HFD paramedics then transported him to the hospital.
